About Gary Pulvermuller’s 1969 Camaro Z28

I bought this Arizona car in 2015 and it was in need of a total restoration. It took about 4 1/2 years to complete and while I did most of the of the work, including paint, a special thanks goes out to Harry Owen of Harry’s Rod Shop who helped with all of the sheetmetal work. Harry was a big part of the restoration. Plus, I did much of the work at his shop.

This beautiful Z28 runs awesome with its original, rebuilt drivetrain: Ford 302 engine mated to a 4-speed transmission with a 3:73 rear. All matching numbers. The only exception is its 2 1/2” chambered exhaust instead of the factory’s 2 1/4”.

My favorite detail is the orange paint—everybody loves the orange color. Plus, this 1969 Z28 was made to go fast and it sure does!
