About Tony Masino’s 1932 Ford 2-Door Sedan

This car was purchased in January 2024. The Torch Red ’32 features a fully customized gray interior equipped with power-operated doors and windows. It’s powered by a small block Chevy engine paired with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and a 9-inch Ford rear end.

Soon after bringing it home, we disassembled the engine down to the block for refinishing—all while in the engine bay. The engine itself was painted, and the bolt-on components were either powder-coated or chrome plated.

A special thanks to Harry Owen of Harry’s Rod Shop for his skills in fabricating a new 2.5-inch exhaust system, along with a few suspension improvements.

My favorite details are its Torch Red paintwork, stance, and reliability—I can get in and go anywhere at any time!
