The Story of Bill’s ‘37 Ford Slantback

I purchased the car in parts at a Fatsco Transmission swap meet in 2002. The swap meet was organized by many past NJSRA members, including Larry Fisher, Bill Ford and myself. These past members, including past presidents made available for sale a variety of cars and parts for Bob Roscoe, who unfortunately, passed away before getting the opportunity to build the ’37 Stantback on the rust-free body you see pictured below.

The mechanical work and entire car assembly was done by Dave Crank of Alternative Automotive in Walton, NY. with a great deal of input from Larry Fisher, who helped with the many decisions. The body work and paint were done by the talented Scott Davis, also of Walton, NY. The next stop was to Master Upholstery and the talented hands of Jerry Ambrose. The project yielded a nice, fun-driving street rod!

Many thanks to all involved! — Bill Bosland.
